My mentee loves to sing! Last school year, she performed in front of the student body at her school and hopes to do it again next year. 

My mentee is extremely talented in basketball. He loves to practice his skills any chance he gets!

My mentee plans to go to college to help others, possibly in the field of psychology.

We realized our birthdays are 4 days apart and celebrated our birthdays in our session together.

My mentee has grown so much in the last year. He seems to look forward to meeting with me and his attendance has improved! We have been able to have intelligent, civil conversations about challenges. I'm excited about our relationship and steps of maturity.

My mentee manages to be both incredibly sweet and very competitive. He shows no remorse beating me in checkers and Connect 4, but always helps clean up the games and sometimes even lets me win. 

She is an amazing young girl! I admire her strengths, resilience, and want her to see this for herself! It is an incredible honor to serve as her mentor!

My mentee is very athletic. He just got done with basketball and can't wait for baseball to start!

Meeting with my student every Friday is the highlight of my week! They are SO smart, and are even teaching me to play chess!

My student is very artistic and enjoys painting, drawing and crafting. We like to walk while enjoying a good conversation. She tells me that I remind her of her grandmother who lives out of state.
