HOW TO SUPPORT OUR YOUTH

It takes a village to raise a child

Scroll Down

Investing in our community youth promotes strong potential employees.  What if you could leverage the talent of your corporate leadership to build future employees from the ground up?  Research shows that children who have an invested adult with a similar passion are likely to grow into successful vocational leaders.

WHY

Using your corporate platform to support mentorship through OHuddle's 501c3 is win-win.  Volunteering through OHuddle meets corporate and civic community service requirements and all donations are tax deductible.

HOW

Does your organization require volunteer hours?  OHuddle offers virtual or in-person 90 minute trainings to launch volunteers into service.  Background checks are sponsored by OHuddle.

WHEN

Mentorship orientations are available monthly throughout the calendar year.  We are happy to coordinate a personalized training of five or more of your staff.

WHAT

Mentoring a school-aged student can happen in person or virtually before or after the school day.  Sessions are typically 30-45 minutes weekly.  Might you consider offering release time or a paid opportunity to volunteer for an hour once per week?

MODEL LEADERSHIP

OHuddle's Summer Leadership Camp and Golden Circle Field Trip series provides vocational exposure and opportunity to referred youth.  Want to be considered as an upcoming speaker?

STAFF VOLUNTEERISM

Would you encourage your staff to mentor for 30 minutes weekly?

Would you invite us to share the opportunity to mentor at an upcoming staff meeting?

SUPPORT TEACHERS

Will you help us to bless our teachers and mentors by sponsoring an upcoming OHuddle Hour?

CORPORATE GIVING

Without sponsorship by our corporate partners, OHuddle would not be in Wayne County.  Would you consider a tax-deductible corporate gift to sponsor mentorship?
