Initial training to become an OHuddle mentor

THANK YOU

For volunteering your time to become an OHuddle mentor.   Here is what to expect in our one hour training.  Instructions are below.  If you have difficulty at any time during the training, please contact Executive Director Sara Reith at 330-749-5219.

STEP 1: WATCH THE VIDEO

Distance Learning about OHuddle service

Please click on the video button and watch the attached video.  Please be sure to watch it in it's entirety.... We're scrollers and skippers ahead too but it is so important to watch this entire review.

We've evolved this training through the years from two 90 minute trainings to one 45 minute video.  We respect your time!  But that means that you don't want to miss this information!

STEP 2: COMPLETE THE QUIZ

Checking Understanding

Because we are talking about safety and school boundaries, it's important that we ensure that you are clear on the key components of mentor service.  Please complete the below brief quiz to progress to the next step.

STEP 3: SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

Turn in your Work

Please complete the online application and commitment pledge below.

Email contact@ohuddle.org to let our Director of Operations know that you have completed both steps.  She will respond with a link to complete your background check.

STEP 4: JOIN THE CALL

Join our Google Hangouts Conversation

At the time indicated in your email, please stop wherever you are in the above process and join us at the link below for a group call.  If you are having difficulty joining, you can call the number below:

(‪US‬)‪+1 352-570-0735‬

STEP 5: NEXT STEPS

Our part to finalize your application

Within the next few days after the call, you will receive an instructional email to get your background check.  Once your check is back (between 2 weeks to 2 months), you will receive an email from the Director of Operations introducing you to your Site Coordinator to get started.
