HOW TO BECOME A

1

Sign up for a 90 minute orientation by clicking the volunteer button

Attend training in person or virtually and complete background check at no cost to you.

Launch to volunteer during the school day for 40-60 minutes weekly. 

OHuddle (Odyssey-Huddle) is a school-based 1:1 mentorship program.

 

OHuddle matches school-nominated students and adult volunteer Mentors with the vision of empowering every child to thrive and enrich their community.

 

Youth with a mentor benefit from access to school-based service, after school field trips, and service coordination through OHuddle.

Hello.

Mentorship through OHuddle is about more than just a weekly meeting.  Youth receive Service Coordination support with a Site Coordinator dedicated to that student's building. 

 

Site Coordinators facilitate a just right fit for services to spark a child's interests and to invest in their talents.

Supported by community grants and donors, OHuddle is a school-based mentorship program fostering relationships to Wayne County students.  OHuddle serves students with individualized and small group mentorship to underscore each child’s strengths and positive attributes.
